How to change the group number of an MP-73 controller
The group number is important to the operation of the controller, it determines the RF channel used by the controller to communicate with the scoreboard. By setting the group number, you ensure that the controller is communicating on the correct channel to transmit data to the scoreboard. To make this change, you will need to follow a few simple steps:
- Begin by turning on the MP-73 controller.
- Locate the "SHIFT" and "BAT/RF" keys on the controller, and hold them down simultaneously.
- Keep holding these keys until the display reads "Enter Pass Code".
- Using the keypad on the controller, type in the pass code "9632" and press the "ENTER" key. Once you have entered the correct pass code, the display will prompt you to enter the desired group number.
- Using the keypad again, enter the new group number you wish to assign to the controller, and then press "ENTER" once more.
- Finally, shut the controller off, and then turn it back on again to complete the process.
By following these steps, you can quickly and easily change the group number of your MP-73 controller to better suit your operational needs.
